Faking the Funk Since 2002 - July 26th, 2005

Last night was a doozy. Team rehearsal got canceled due to a lost car key and team mates stranded in Dallas. So I ate. And ate. Seems like all I’ve been doing for 48 hours is eating. Fell asleep at 8, woke up at midnight, watched an episode of Oz, back asleep by 2. I was planning on doing some pool laps this morning, but---surprise, surprise---my new shitty cell phone doesn’t have a snooze button on the alarm. Ergo, I woke up just in time to dress and get to work. Bluh.

NPS Update: Turns out, due to some scheduling changes, the two prelim nights of NPS have been switched. This is good news, as our even more difficult bout is now on the first night, meaning we have our full arsenal to employ. I don't know if they were switched for EVERYONE, so y'all might wanna check on that for yourselves. But for us, this is good news.

To-do today: review applications for our new membership initiative, register a cadre of new members, send out a press release, design an email blast, and read read read.

I’m fasting today.

So at the end of an IM chat with my new buddy, Kate, I meant to type "bon voyage" but a misplaced index finger entered "bong voyage."

Now then, who wouldn't want to go on one of THOSE cruises?
