To those of you whom I told I'd be hosting the slam tonight, I was wrong. I'm not. Maybe in a few weeks, but tonight, it's the lovely and talented Ms. Genevieve at the helm, ready to corral you raucous bastards into a semblance of dignity.
Also, I just had a job interview (on the phone) which went well, but which was followed by the realization I'd lost my friend Jessica's dog, Wally. I hollered up and down Speedway for 20 minutes before calling her to break the news. Turns out, she took him to her office at lunch, so it wasn't my fault.
Hooray for not causing the death of your friends' pets!
And hooray for all the hard fucking work I'm doing!
